F street was rockin' (no homo)
Before we got smacked down by Miami yesterday, the whole DC area was estatic over the Wizards advancing to the second round of the NBA playoffs for the first time in 23 years. Unfortunately I didnt get to go to the game but a freind told me that people were dancing down F street after the Game six victory over the Bulls. The homosexuals over at ESPN were laughing at the Wizards for how much they were celebrating the first round win with confetti and streamers and printed up T-shirts. To those homos I say fuck you (no homo), before this season the Wizards had not won a playoff game since 6 yrs before I was born. Allow us our celebration.

Oh dont worry, I know how lucky DC is to have an NBA team. I have been an avid Wizards fan since WE first got Chris Webber. But its been hard to be a fan of a team with a knack (sp?) for finding ways to loose games. That makes this season that much more special..........and uhhh i huess i t hrow a no homo in here so that Xplicit doesnt come calling. nh
I'm going to have to agree with Jason on how I wish we had an NBA team instead of the Blues. That being said, I wouldnt want a team if it meant the Cardinals would get less support.
I've got to admit, I thought those shirts were suspect. It's cool to be proud of winning a round, but they must have printed them out well in advance.

unbelievably, this seems to be a somewhat common opinion even outside of Saint Louis, with the logic being that skating is hard, even if you can leave the ice as soon as you get tired. AI can't just sub out 39 minutes into the game.

Btw why doesnt STL have a basketball team. The reason why Wash didnt have a baseball team for so long is because baltimore is 40 mins away, Stl doesnt have that problem

Saint Louis is a fairly small market. It would be really hard for St Louis to financially support 4 teams (Cards, Rams, Blues, NBA)

Deng was your 4th leading scorer, Hayes avg. 10 pts a game. And the Bulls front line played great despite the absence of curry
